The home is clean, well maintained and the yard is beautiful! Close to town and the beach. Beds are comfortable and mini splits made climate control perfect! Management is very responsive. Highly recommend this property. We plan to book again.

This old colonial farmhouse in Maine was the perfect place to stay for a couple of nights. The place has been beautifully restored, keeping all its historic charm while feeling fresh and modern—almost like stepping into a Crate & Barrel catalog. It was spotless, well-maintained, and had plenty of space with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen was solid, with a gas stove that made cooking easy. Even though it was still cold in March, the three-season porch looked like it would be a great hangout spot in warmer weather. The real highlight, though, was the hot tub out back. After two days of skiing at Pleasant Mountain, it was the perfect way to kick back and relax. Overall, it was a great spot—comfortable, well-equipped, and a solid home base for a weekend getaway. Would definitely stay here again.

We can not begin to say enough wonderful things about the Fowler Farmhouse. Everything about this property was amazing....from the gorgeous Maine farmhouse exterior with tons of character to the spacious updated interior; it was just perfect! We especially appreciated all the comforts of this property, including sheets, bath and beach towels, all the kitchenware you could possibly need, pet items, cleaning products, and even games and puzzles. We came with our dog and really appreciated all the amenities for her as well as the fact that nothing about the property smelled like another pet had stayed there before. This house is also close walking distance to the lake and town which was so convenient. The owner was also wonderful to work with. There was a full information booklet with all the info we could possibly need on the counter when we arrived but he was also available by email or phone if there was anything additional we needed. A+ property and experience - will 100% rent again!

The Fowler Farmhouse surpassed all our expectations! We are a family spanning four generations, from a great grandmother to a lively toddler (and our beloved dog!), and found ample space for everyone. Nestled on a quirt side street in downtown Bridgton, it is walking distance to local attractions. During our stay of three nights, we hardly left the property, as it offered toys and games for both young and old. The farmhouse has authentic charm, with wide plank floors, solid wood doors, and soaring ceilings, evoking a sense of nostalgia. The generously sized family room provided comfortable seating for all, and the pellet stove proved to be a cozy respite during a late March snowstorm in Maine. Impeccable cleanliness greeted us upon arrival, complemented by luxurious linens, an abundance of throw blankets, and thoughtful touches such as extra dog beds for our furry companion. Despite being pet-friendly, the home showed no signs of previous canine guests – no yard waste, no lingering odors, and certainly no dog hair! Each room exuded a refreshing scent, devoid of any artificial fragrances. We wholeheartedly look forward to returning to the Berman's hospitality, whether at the Fowler Farmhouse or another one of their properties, in the near future. Thank you for a truly unforgettable stay!

This house had everything and the hosts were perfectly communicative. The driveway was well cleared during winter. The kids and dogs were well accommodated and the adults very much enjoyed the hot tub and pellet stove. A wonderful get away!
